FROM PANTRY TO FULL HOME TRANSFORMATION
This project began with a pantry. This client and her family discovered my home organizing services through a nonprofit auction I partnered with in the Nashville area, where they won a free pantry organization session. After I helped declutter and organize their kitchen storage, she reached back out to discuss a bigger challenge—a room that had gone untouched for years.
THE VISION
My client wanted the room to reflect her current stage of life and be elegant, colorful, and with a touch of eclectic flair. She’s a self-described art deco lover, and we used that as a guiding inspiration. The goal was to create a space that felt elevated but still warm and welcoming enough for family and friends to enjoy.
THE PROCESS: DECLUTTER, DESIGN, TRANSFORM
We began with a full clear-out and decluttering session, making the room usable again by removing years of accumulated items. Once the space was clean and organized, I created a design plan using a mix of affordable and vintage-inspired pieces that reflected Melissa’s style. Every piece was chosen to make the room both beautiful and functional.
THE FINAL RESULT
The room is now completely transformed. What was once an overfilled playroom is now a cozy, artful lounge where Melissa and her family can relax, read, entertain, and enjoy time together. It’s a space that reflects her style and stage of life—and the family was thrilled with how it turned out.
